The Ukrainian Choir “Malva” presents a vibrant programme of Ukrainian and Irish songs, combining tradition, energy, and audience interaction.
The performance opens with “Hey, Sokoly!”, a Ukrainian folk song beloved by audiences, with Irish spectators often joining in singing. “Molly Malone”, one of the choir’s favourites, is a cherished Irish folk song and a symbol of Dublin, performed with joy and spirit. “Country Roads”, a popular American song, is reimagined with an Irish twist, giving it a colorful and lively character. “Teresa & Maria”, an energetic Ukrainian hit from Eurovision 2025, is dynamic and widely recognisable.
The programme continues with traditional Irish songs, “The Wild Rover” and “Tell Me Ma”, performed with theatrical elements, choreography, and interactive audience participation,
making each moment engaging and fun. The finale is “Ireland’s Call”, a song regarded almost as Ireland’s anthem, uniting performers and audience in celebration.
