Marching Bands
Every year, we welcome marching bands from all over the world to join us for the national St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Dublin on March 17th!
Did you know that the parade is actually a competition with marching bands competing in a number of categories? A panel of adjudicators led by our music consultant Dr Joseph Ryan, judge the bands during their live parade performance.

The Parade
Our 2027 St. Patrick’s Festival programme runs from Saturday 13th March to Wednesday 17th March. Our full events schedule will be available in January 2027.
