Circle of Friends Spoon Ensemble is a children’s music and performance group from Monaghan, working with wooden spoons as a rhythmic instrument. The ensemble combines live spoon-percussion, coordinated movement and elements of simple choreography, creating a visually engaging and rhythmically dynamic performance.
The group has performed at Cruinniú na nÓg and the Monaghan Christmas Lights Switch-On, receiving warm feedback from audiences. For St Patrick’s Festival, the ensemble presents a high-energy performance that celebrates rhythm, teamwork and stage presence, offering audiences something fresh and unique — one of the only dedicated children’s spoon ensembles in Ireland.
