Led by sibling storytelling duo Aron and Sorcha Hegarty, Candlelit Tales are a group of storytellers, performers, and musicians telling captivating audiences with their unique performances of Irish myths set to live music.

Sibling storytelling duo Aron and Sorcha Hegarty tell a selection of old Irish folk tales for children and families.

Candlelit Tales was founded by brother-sister storytelling duo Aron and Sorcha Hegarty. Driven by a passion for Irish mythology, the pair began retelling old Irish stories to a near-empty room upstairs in a Dublin pub one rainy evening in November. The next week, the room was a lot less empty. By the fourth week, the room was full, and so was the hall outside. Since then, Candle Lit Tales have become a staple act at festivals and arts gatherings around the country, developing and refining their uniquely expressive, naturalistic and modern style to audiences young and old.
