    Mo Cultivation Urban Takeover

Mo Cultivation presents the very best of urban music with early evening jazz, soul and R'n'B before  some of Ireland’s finest hip-hop artists turn up the tempo to end the night on a high.

Mo Cultivation is a brand new arts platform that focuses on the very best of urban culture from Ireland and around the world. Music, arts, fashion, visuals, spoken word, street art, cuisine and beyond will be explored via online content and in-person experiences, officially launching in March 2022.

On St. Patrick’s Day 2022, Mo Cultivation is proud to present some of the finest urban acts that Ireland currently has to offer. Although it is by far one of the most popular categories of music worldwide, urban music is often overlooked in Ireland. We urge anyone who believes that urban music is just one type of sound to come and enjoy this wonderfully varied programme of music, which has been curated to take guests on a journey. Kicking off the night will be a soulful, jazzy set from a number of X-Collective artists, with the full lineup to be announced.

Followed by this will be a specially curated collaboration between 1000 Beasts, DeCarteret and Khakikid, all hailed as emerging artists to watch in 2022.

One of Ireland’s most exciting hip-hop rappers, Nealo will perform for the first time this year in his hometown with his full band. Galway rapper, songwriter Celaviedmai will take to the stage with a number of special guests and her incredible live band.

To close out the night, we are proud to welcome Sim Simma - one of Ireland's foremost music trailblazers in Caribbean, Latin and African music who will host a dance party like no other with an assortment of DJs and MCs. Dublin superstar R3D will be on the decks throughout the night plus another special guest yet to be announced.
