Storytelling Session with Brendan Nolan

2:59 PM, Fri, 17 Mar

Venue: Royal Hibernian Academy, 15 Ely Place, Dublin 2

Free. Ticketed via

When the parade has passed by and the excitement has subsided a little, relax and unwind to tales spun by Dublin storyteller, Brendan Nolan of the Dublin Yarnspinners.  Hear the true story of how St. Patrick came to Ireland and sent the snakes away, forever.  Listen to how he pierced an unsuspecting king through the foot with his crozier while converting him from paganism and war to the new religion of peace and brotherliness. And marvel at his conversations with the 300-year-old Oisín newly returned from Tír na nÓg as Patrick sought to understand the Irish. Listen to these and other stories to celebrate the day.

Suitable for all ages.
