Bang Bike
Timpeall from 2.00pm
Bang Bike are back in Dublin after a raucous Culture Night outing in September 2023.
Belfast-based resident Dimebag DJs will be warming up with a combination of melodic electronic, disco, acid dirt and who knows what else! Followed by a showcase of four live electronic acts from Ireland on retro ironing boards.
First up, Deep Division from Belfast will be performing some live Disco. Deep Division is well known in the Belfast scene, supporting the likes of David Holmes. Next up is Belacqua, Galway’s Dion Doherty. His DJ alias is well known as a wrecker of dance floors and an integral part of the Open Ear family. His productions are created from live jams on hardware and influenced by 80’s NYC.
The JBR Project is a well-known staple of the Open House Festival, performing on Capel Street for Culture Night Dublin. St. Patrick’s Festival is delighted to welcome him back to Dublin, this time performing with Ada Olekk who will be improvising on violin, bringing heavy Jean-Luc-Ponty vibes.
To close out the night, electro producer from Waterford, Niall Power, will be preforming a live acid set to finish the night off with a bang. Power runs MiniMan Records, a label that focuses on warped and twisted sonic sounds with Sci-Fi Influenced Electro and Techno cuts. Hold on to your boot’s.. things might get dirty.
